Reward Nsirim is from Rivers State. He was born and grew up in Port-Harcourt. He studied Medicine and Surgery at University of Port-Harcourt and has a post graduate degree in Public Health from the University of London’s School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.[1]
Reward has always been a literature aficionado, editing a number of publications and performing on stage as a member of two drama troupes.[2]
In addition to being a doctor/public health practitioner and an author, Reward is also a compere.[3] He is married and has two sons.[4] Reward relaxes by watching sports, football and tennis and watching movies at the cinema with his wife.[5]
Fresh Air and Other Stories is his first published book.
Reward is on Twitter @rewardsrhetoric and has a blog.
Interestingly, Reward is the fourth author with a degree in medicine (or studying for one) featured in our Author of The Week posts on our blog. The previous three are Dami Ajayi, Eghosa Imasuen, and just last week, Tinu Bello.
