LE: Hello Chinedu, please tell us a bit about yourself.

Chinedu: Chinedu was born in Richmond, Virginia. USA. Both of my parents are Nigerian and are from Anambra State. I graduated from the University of Houston with my bachelor’s degree in Economics. I currently live in Houston, Texas with my wife and son. 

LE: What you do for a living? Is writing your full-time job?

Chinedu: I work as an accountant in the energy industry. Writing isn’t my full-time job.

LE: When did you start writing and what prompted it?

Chinedu: I got the idea to start writing after then Senator Obama won the US presidential election in 2008. I wanted to create a storyline around his historic win.

LE: Are you currently working on any book and if you are, what is it about?

Chinedu: I am currently working on my 3rd book, but it’s still in its very early stages. The storyline will revolve around my characters from The Miseducation of Obi Ifeanyi eight years in the future as they try to navigate covid, life, and political issues in the U.S. in 2020. 

LE: Lastly, what are your hobbies?

Chinedu: In my free time, I love to read, watch sports and television shows and spending time with family and friends.
