   Thank you. Upload the audio file via the upload media button. WordPress only supports .mp3, .m4a, .ogg, or .wav files so if it is in a different format like mp4, for instance, you have to convert it to a format WordPress supports. It’ll appear as a shortcode not an embedded link on editor. You could publish privately to test if it is embedded if you are concerned (which is what I did as I hadn’t published any audio files before this one).
