You wonder why we are so excited?

This blog was born out of a lengthy exchange of direct messages (DMs) between two people; one loves the book, the other thinks it’s bleh.

Started in the DMs…

We met on twitter, two people who love reading books for pleasure. We started chatting about books we had read and books we would recommend or not recommend. It was Mo who suggested a blog where we review books we have read. Lady B baulked at the idea of reviews at first but Mo can be very persuasive. We intend to review books by Nigerian authors and publishers in a fun and relatable way that gets more people reading. We hope the blog brings together a community of readers who interact with one another.
