Omoni Oboli, actor, writer, director and film producer was born in Benin City, Nigeria. A rare breed of performer, Omoni – who goes by her first name – is the star and director of such films as Being Mrs Elliot, Wives on Strike and Okafor’s Law.

She keeps homes in Lagos, Nigeria and Halifax, Canada with her husband, Nnamdi and their three sons.
