An interview with Leye Adenle. Read our review of his book, Easy Motion Tourist here.
LE: Hello Leye, please tell us a bit about yourself.
Leye: I was born in Ibadan in the south west of Nigeria where I grew up and received all my education up to my university degree in Economics. Thereafter I moved to the UK where I did a masters in Information Technology
LE: What you do for a living? Is writing your full time job?
Leye: I live in the UK now, working as an agile coach by day and a writer by night. Literally.
LE: When did you start writing and what prompted it?
Leye: I have written for as long as I can remember. I blame the amazing books I read as a child.
LE: Are you currently working on any book and if you are, what is it about?
Leye: Right now I’m working on the third book in the Amaka series.
LE: We will look forward to reading that. Next on our list is the second book in the Amaka series. Lastly, what are your hobbies?
Leye: Interestingly, writing is both my job and my hobby. Another hobby is painting. I find nothing more relaxing than reading a good novel. Or re-reading a great one.
Leye has two published books:
Easy Motion Tourist
When Trouble Sleeps
He contributed to two anthologies:
