Richard Ali was born in Kano in the early 80s. His family moved to Jos when he was still quite young. He studied law at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria.[1]

In addition to being an author, Richard is a lawyer and the Chief Operating Officer of Parresia Publishers, a publishing outfit which he started with Azafi Omoluabi Ogosi in 2012.[2]

Richard lives in Abuja and enjoys chess, reading and travelling.[3]

His published book is City of Memories.
