Read our review of Victor’s book, Excuse Me! here.
Victor Ehighale Ehikhamenor is from Edo State, Nigeria. He has a BA in English and Literary Studies from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, an MSc. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland, and a Masters in Fine Art from the University of Maryland, College Park Maryland.[1]
At age 10, Victor started writing letters for elderly people, who didn’t have a Western education, in his village where he grew up. He did this by translating Esan, his mother tongue to English. He states that this was the beginning of his journey as a writer.[2]
In addition to being an author, he is a prolific and award-winning artist, poet, and photographer. He admits it used to be a huge problem trying to balance his different hats but that he has found a way to make them complement each other.[3]
Victor has two published books:
Sordid Rituals-a collection of poems.
Excuse Me!-a collection of nonfiction essays.
Victor is on Twitter @victorsozaboy, Facebook Victor Ehikhamenor and has a blog.
